Mid-Term Post

During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate 
in a variety of activities?  On what days have you participated to your best effort and 
why?  What days have been a struggle for you and why?

During this year I participate most of the time and for the time i don't participate are the activities i don't enjoy. for example one activity i don't like is the circuit because people don't try and it kills my vibe. The days i participate the most are days when i had a good lunch and when i like the activity. One activity i really enjoy doing is Insanity because it keeps you motivated and it trains basically the whole body. The days that i struggle are when i didn't eat a lunch and or when i don't enjoy the activity. one way to improve this is to try my hardest even though i don't like the activity. 

How do you contribute to the overall success of the class?  What kind of attitude do 
you bring and why?  How do you interact with other students in our class?

The way i contribute to the class is different to the way other people contribute. I contribute by following the rules and being a good sport. An example of this is when we play capture the flag, when i get tagged i go to jail instead of ignoring the fact that i got tagged. I always bring a happy attitude to class. I get along with all the students in our class, especially the ones i already know well. 

Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself 
physically?  What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most?  What fitness 
goals do you have for the rest of the year? 

During fitness days i try unless its an activity i don't prefer. I try to partner up with people that are gonna try so it will motivate me and push me past my limits. The fitness activities i enjoy the most are: Insanity, Community Run, and Triple Threat. But out of those three i prefer triple threat because the partners in your group can motivate you. My fitness goal for this year is to get  a 12.6 on the beep test. I will get this by eating health, or atleast try to. Another way to get this score is to focus on stamina and endurance training. 

What does "leadership" mean to you?  Who are the best leaders in our class - why

To me the word leadership means a person who can motivate you and bring a positive attitude. There are many examples in our class but the one that sticks out the most is Parmvir Toor. He is always trying is hardest and always puts a smile on peoples faces. 

What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year?  What are 
you the most proud of so far?

By the end of this pe year i want to have more stamina. I am most proud of my beep test. it is my highest so far. It is 11.3 

Finally, what letter grade A, B, C+, C, C- (gulp) best represents the effort you just described? In Grade 10-12 we need an actual percentage as well. :( Like 71% because…"


After reflecting on what i did so far this year in pe, i think i deserve a B with a percent of %80

  1. Thx Himmat. One way to improve your effort on activities you don't like as much is to modify them into something you see as beneficial for yourself. If it is just an energy/vibe thing then make sure you pair with someone who is better as maintaining their intensity in large situations… like Domo.
