Participation:
I've been really good with
attendance in PE, always there on time coming prepared with strip and proper
shoes, however I have forgotten my strip a couple of times. As far as
participation I always play every choice but not to my full potential. Sometimes
I don’t like the choice but sometimes its that other people don’t try and it
kills the vibe. When it comes to intensity of playing i always try to make sure
im super hyped and energetic because i know how my attitude affects other
people. If i decide to just screw around and put on that attitude i know the
grade 10's are looking up at us and following what we are doing and that's not
exactly the kind of attitude we want to show them. I know during choice days
its extremely difficult to make the most out of it especially when you're
playing with a bunch of kids that dont wanna be there or people who just don’t want
to play. Even if it is a sport I don’t like playing for example baseball, I still
try my best. I don’t care if I cant swing properly and I don’t mind if other
people make fun of me.
Social Responsibility &
Contribution to the Class:
I enjoy being a leader because
it makes me feel like I play an important role in this class and the other blocks.
During choice days i always try to make sure i help out with cleaning up or
setting up because i know the feeling of being alone with cleaning up and it
sucks that's why i try to be helpful as possible. But sometimes I don’t do
anything and I just sit there and watch other people set up. I also try to come
with a positive attitude in class and try not to complain about being tired or
bored or not wanting to be at school because i actually really enjoy P.E. But
there are also times when i just feel absolutely lazy and not wanting to do
anything but I still try to come to class with a smile on my face because i
know it somehow brings up people in a positive mood and i guess that
contributes to the success of the class. PE has also helped me build greater
friendships like i became so much closer to Alex and Keenan. In a way they
motivate me to lift. When we would go to the weight room, I don’t feel
comfortable lifting because I am small, and my body is just not meant for
lifiting.
Digital Portfolio & Reflective Skills:
I don't have a lot of pictures and videos of me exercising or working out but i do write about what happens and sometimes reflect on it. I admit that this term has been really really bad especially with blogs. I really really don't want to do blogs and i just get too lazy or i just forget about it. I know that my blog is crap compared to some of the grade 10's and i realized that too late. .
Overall, i've had fair lazy days of not trying and being super incredibly lazy and complaining but i've also had my good days where i give it my all and i think that balances it out. If i were to give you percentage right now.. I think i'd be sitting at a 80% because even though i slacked off a little bit during this term with blogs. I believe if I had tried more on blogs would have gotten a better mark, but I did exactly what you told us not to do, which is leaving the blogs to the end of the semester.

Healthy Living:
Outside of school PE I will
try to do something every day. I play basketball every day with my friends. But
doing something isn’t the whole part. I have begun eating healthy food. I
started eating more sandwiches with cucumbers and tomatoes. I think my fitness level
has improved throughout the semester a bit at the beginning of the year I got a
8.6 but at the end I had a 9.4 and I started to just feel better after every
fitness class.I am not very proud of my beep test scores because in grade 9 I got
a 11.3 and I haven’t been able to reach that ever since. Ive also started
eating some more fruits and vegetables. I want to start going to the gym around
spring break time everyday and then into summer.

Fair and honest account of yourself Himmat. Well done. I encourage you to reconsider your idea of "lifting" as you are correct that your body type isn't ideal for heavy lifting but hopefully you have also learned how many different types of weight room lifting their are. Find one that works for you and your goals. i could have helped loads but as you mention, you didn't really put anything down for us to discuss. I also encourage you to keep considering what part you are playing when the game collapses. Sometimes that happens but each of us is affecting the others… so consider your role. Hope we see you back as I enjoyed having you in class this year. Next year though.. come to the field trips.
